Default The sequence in installing turbo parts?

I would like to install my turbo in peices...

Can I installing the FMU, missing link and inline fuel pump first? Will my car drive okay? I'm thinking since the FMU and missing link is boost base, if there is no boost, there is no difference. And what of the fuel bump? Would I be running rich?

Any one advise?

Thanks,

Kham.

bah, i don't like the sound of your engine management!

But yes, you can install those parts now
When I did my install i put my dsm 450cc injectors in, burned a new chip in uberdata, installed my fuel pump and she ran like stock, then i bolted up the fun parts of the turbo and haven't touched the fuel stuff and it runs great. Tuning starts tomorrow :D

So wait, your car ran fine NA, and you are now boosting on that same map? That doesn't sound right......

I've got a set of dsm 450's sitting in my room. But everything else I don't have. That's for the future.

I just wanna get it up and running.

Thanks for the advice.

Kham.

That is the magic of real engine management, when your not in boost, the car doesn't get any more fuel, only when in a certain presure and rpm does your fuel level increase. Understanding how an ecu works is key

I dont know about any of that but i do know if you plan on running an egt gauge, boost gauge it is easier and much better to tap your exhaust manifold while its off the car and the same for the IM. also if your going to run an oil pressure gauge install that while your IM is off. just makes the whole process go sooo much faster.
