Default see anything wrong with my return line?

i think the return line is way too long.... shouldn't it be shorter and be diagonal? instead of going down. then straight, then to the pan?

i do have some oil leaking out of the turbo somewhere.

oil return lines run off of gravity. idealy you want it to go down and at an angle to your oil pan

i dont know if you are safe or not, depends on how far down it goes before it gets flat like that.

negative, please try again.

i would probably cut it shorter. get more of an angle/incline in the hose. you don't want any slack.

My oil spends half its journey going sideways, although my line is half as long as that. The only reason I can figure I don't have toasted seals is that I put it where crank weights don't slosh oil on it, I have a restrictor before the turbo, and I never stop acceleration

Try to shorten it up as much as you can without kinking it. If it wants to kink, you can slightly combat it by putting an SS clamp on it lightly to keep it round.

That looks awful, I'd fix it before you drive the car again.

No you should ad about a foot more of hose, that will do the trick . You return hose should not be more that 10-12 inches, that to me look way longer than that

Also depends on the manifold you use and engine you are running. What motor and mani are you running?

LS motor and a drag manifold. turbo sits real low... i think its is why im leaking oil somewhere on the turbo...

turbo is probably gone by now. been driving like this for 4 months. i revently installed an oil restrictor and it helps a little bit. not smoking as much as b4.

Yeah, you should try changing to a smaller return line and try not to leave exesive slack, like they mentioned they work off of gravity

update, i was told it cannot be shorten. if i did the lines would kink. i think imma get a new line with a 45 degree end on one end so that it would be a lot easier to work with. hopes this helps cuz turbo is leaking oil..

My returnline is like 20 inches or so, I know I might have problems but I'll try to fix them when I get to it
