Default sealing a weld????

i tapped my oil pan and i had a very tuff time getting the gun into the space to weld the portion up by the lip. it looks like there is a VERY small hole somewhere in my weld.

is there a sealer that i could use? i was thinking something like JB weld maybe. anyone have some good ideas, that is someone who knows. because i can guess just a good as the next guy

i think jb weld is about your only other option if you cant get in there with a welder...just remember to clean the area really good first

JB weld works fine for something like that. Mine's the same way, and has held up for 4+ years with no leaks.

I had the same problem with my fat mig gun when trying to get a weld on the top of it. I just tried my best, threw some paint over it, and it doesn't leak a drop so I guess it's fine.

Weld the inside + grind it flat.

The oil shouldn't be pressurized there anyway so the worst it would do is seep or drip.

there is always a little pressure in there, even if its air pressure.
