Screwd? Main Journal Damage..... (burr/markings)
Got around to tearing down my D16A6, this is the a pic of the main girdle cap
This pic is of the burrs, there hard to see, there on the far left on the upward climb part of the journal, it looks like someone tapped it with a screwdriver or something and put very tiny marks on the edge and created 4-5 small burrs that can be felt by rubbing your finger over it, can I just hit it with some 200grit paper and its all good?
This is the center journal, all the other journals were mint, looked perfect and glossy, this one seems to have some scoring or something on the block side journal, cant feel anything when rubbing my nail over it and nothing comes up
Just wanna know if these are soemthing I should worry about
Thanks guys, dont mind the shitty shitty pics

Re: Screwd? Main Journal Damage..... (1 Cam Wonder)
I'd try some scotch-brite and lacquer thinner on the one with just a little scoring. That might be able to polish it up a bit and take out the roughness.
I'd start with 600 grit to knock down the burr and then move down to 400 grit if needed.
