Screen Mesh Filters
I'll measure the thickness when i find a guage and find out what material and temperature it holds up to. I will post detailed info first week of may, cuz I'm done with exams april 28. I need to do legwork for the people who want bigger sizes for using them as grills to get a good price. If you want just the one to slap on to the turbo then I might be able to help u out first cuz I might have the sizes in stock. shoot me any email or pm.

1 will be the screen, then 2 would be some kind of fliter, then 3 would be the other screen.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I did that with a K&N drop-in filter:
I just cut out a section, flattened it, and used a hose clamp to hold it to the inlet. Worked welll for a week or two, then the filter element got clogged and needed to be changed. I changed the element about twice a month for a couple months, then I got lazy and just ran the two layers of mesh. Then I finally got off my duff and figured out a way to mount an A'PEXi filter:

I doubt that a tightly woven piece of steel mesh is going to flow better than a K&N which has much looser mesh which is only there to hold the free flowing gauze in place.
