Misc pics of my turbo
Hard to see, but using a "Screen" over the compressor inlet as some sort of halfass filter yields this:

All of the blades are chipped from little rocks that obviously eventually entered the motor...

Get womens panyhose, the ones you get free from shoe stores and use that as a filter.

Is that a 60-1 with a drag lll manifold you are running there??
If yes have you had any problems with that fal fan touching the exhaust housing of the turbo??
I have that max rev manifold and a 60-1 and my fal fan is totally touching the exhaust housing of the turbo so I'm going to go with a civic radiator...
Not to mention how much I had to shave off that block just to get the 60-1 fitted

I am not surprised by that result Dustin, it doesn't take a large rock to damage the compressor blades. Thumbs down to the "screen filter".

Go to a store that carries K&N filters. Have them look up a 4 inch filter, i know that they make them b/c my friend is using one on his 60-1 right now. I believe he paid 60.00 for the filter from autozone. He directly fitted the filter to the flanged lip on the compressor side, fitment is perfect and does not hit anything. I believe the length of the filter was 3".
try using two screens instead of one.. just layer them diagonally so the holes will be smaller.. i'm doing this at the moment. i might put a filter element such as phantyhose material or a piece of cloth and sandwhich it between the two screens added piece of mind..
