I am in the works of a k swap into my eg hatch and I was wanting to know how well a sc34 would do if I had decided to turbocharge the motor? I used to have a sc61 on a built gsr hatch and it power spiked hard, and I dont really want that anymore. I am looking at the sc34 b/c it seems to be a good street turbo that will still make big power if wanted. Any input??? I have ridden in cars with stock b16's and a tdo4e or whatever it is and its very linear power but not enough top end pull for what I want. Maybe i'm just spoiled on the 61's top end.

 

Josh, you used to post on prelude power.com right?? i saw a pic of the setup u had in the hatch it was really nice... anyway an sc34 would probably work nicely w/ a k series,it'd give the power u need, but i havent heard of the combo yet cause its new...btw hows the swap going?

I have all the parts except for some small stuff liek vac hose. The swap is going by slow, I have waited a month for all the parts to finaly come in and that sucked bad. Now I am waiting on the weather to get better so I can start the swap.

anyone know if this would be a fairly linear setup with good top end pull, even on like 9 psi?
