In my own words, a sticky is a thread/post at the top of the forum your in. It always stays at the top. Has good information, usually stuff that gets asked everyday or so.

Why do you have to swap at all?
If I were you, I'd just sit back and enjoy the 45mpg on 87 octane fuel . . .
Who cares if it's slow? It gets you where you're going all the same, doesn't it? And it does so more cheaply.
Save your money for more important things, like school and moving out. You'll be glad you did.

they make 53 at the wheels on a dyno...don't ask how I know. do an LS swap, it's cheap, it will run forever. also, it's a non-interference motor.....meaning when the timing belt snaps it wont bend the valves.

I have a d16a6 in my cx, it is a dang cheap swap and makes 100hp at the wheels. Certainly nothing to brag about but thats about double the power of what you've got now and I still get 40mpg.
