6-7 psi and rev it up to 8400rpms on a complete stock ITR motor??

well you have high compression to worry about so keep it at 6-7 psi no more without lower compression. Should feel a nice kick in the *** with that psi.

EDIT: ITR valve train is stronger than GSR so should be fine. Stock GSR valvetrains are also strong.

Not that it matters if you already have the Drag 3 kit - but if your only gonna be using 6-7psi then you could have went with a smaller turbo kit and had quicker spool time and still run 6-7psi

Listen very closely for the "marbles in a can" signs of detonation. Depending on your altitude/octane/ambient temperature, you may or may not have problems at 7psi. If you plan on doing nothing further, you should still consider the J&S Ultra Safeguard for security and peace of mind.

P.S. It's not going to be the 8400 rpm with boost that kills you, it's the fueling and timing change at VTEC. Pay VERY close attention to how things sound around the crossover point. Good Luck.
