Default safe boost range.

everywhere i read and search comes up confusing as hell. i have a ls/vtec with pr-3 pistons and a b16 head. I read mixed topics claiming pr-3 are 10.1, 10.5 or 11.5 compression. My friend (dturbocivic) did a quick compression test wich hit 270 giving me the idea the compression is 11.5 range. what would you say is a safe boost range. im thinking between 3 and 6. Right now i barely have the boost turned up at all ;P waiting to get it tuned.

Use this to calculate your compression ratio

And then do as was stated before, just get it together and have a good tuner tell you when to stop. PSI won't break it, HP will break it. I would just be careful of how agressive the tune is because a bad tank of gas can kill a high compression motor a lot easier than a low compression motor, less room for error in the setup.
