AEM C2DI???
for those of you with an AEM, does anyone have this ignition system w/out distributor? just wondering what, if any are noticeable benefits, or maybe some dyno results with the better spark. thanks

It's a CDI ignition amplifier, similar to an MSD 6A, except is allows you to run 4 individual coils w/o the distributor. It works very good for high rpm and/or high hp setups.

Re: AEM C2DI??? (tony1)
cool..thx.. actually, i was takin a looksy on your website tony1?? i think, or someone else from TX. would this unit work in conjuction with the T1 cam trigger unit i saw on the site, or does the T1 unit work with a coil independantly? sorry just trying to figure out efficiency and reasons for efficiency on different spark setups... thx

Re: AEM C2DI??? (siblues)
cool. because i know a lot of people have problems with ignition amplifiers and aftermarket ignitions period, and advise to stick with a stock ignition, but this aem unit seems worthy if setup the right way.

Well as long as you get the second version you should be ok because the first version would only last a little while and it would keep frying something inside the box?I also would recommend the m&w box that Tony1 can get you The m&w is the best out there.

Id say save yourself shipping costs and down time ,And go with the Msd digital box .The EMS and uego are awesome but they dropped the ball on the Cdi and the Injector box from my First hand experence with my own eyes and hands

Re: (hybrdthry911)
have the newer version of the c2di with the tony1 cam hall sensor setup. Running direct fire with cbr 600 coils and denso plugs. Took a little bit of trouble shooting, but got everything working flawlessly. No misfires above 550 whp whatsoever. Revs to 9500 rpm no problem. Probably ideal would be to run the m&w box, but the c2di is a mot cheaper and seems to be holding up. Note the car is driven daily, but other people have ran it in their cars for 2+ years without issues.
