Default boosting JDM ITR k20

would anyone consider boosting one of these motors with a peak boost kit with an SC61 on 10psi or so??? any feed back is welcome thanks

well i did seardh and i couldnt fiind anythin on it, i want to know what ppl think about boosting a higher compression motor thats all

10lbs shouldnt be a issue, its all in the tune.

That's pretty high compression and that's a pretty big turbo, If I were you I'd consider a smaller turbo and possibly less boost. But, like it was said, tuning is everything. And you'll still get really satisfying results.

ive got a boosted K2o ITR, running a JRSC thou, @ 5,5psi

Drives really well,

I wouldnt go big boost on them with stock pistons thou!

its all in the tune. if you get a good tune 10psi shouldn't be a problem at all. if it was me i would be around 15-20

to make it safer i'm running a water/meth kit from snow performance on my boosted k20a.

yeah tuning is critical, high compression just changes your detonation threshold making it easier for it to happen. Yeah a meth/water injection from devils own would be a nice addition to the turbokit
