I realize to some of you, this is a stupid question....but i was wondering how you can observe if it's running to lean or to rich.... I believe that when running rich it should make "popping" sounds... correct???

look at your spark plugs..if they look wet and black then u are rich...if they look powedered white u are lean. if u have little black dots on ur ceramic portion u are detonating.
