Flywheel??
Ok I know this topic has been covered before, but there seems to be no clear answer at this point. At this time, I just have an LS with bolt ons, but in the future my plan is to go turbo. My clutch is gone, and I'm going to be getting a new one soon, and I was wondering if I should get a new lightweight flywheel too. Or maybe a type r flywheel if light weight is bad for turbo? Also, what kind of clutch is good? I've been thinking clutchmasters or clutch net. Thanks for any input.

i have clutchmasters and is awesome. I'd also go with a lightened flywheel while your down there in the clutch area, because i doubt you are goign to want to get in that again just for a flywheel, might as well replace it.

Re: Flywheel?? (ekb18c)
Thanks for the offer, but what I was really wondering is is a lightweight flywheel beneficial for boost? I know that it goes through the powerband quicker, but it does still rev faster.. so what should i do?

With a lighter flywheel you will rev fast and hit boost faster! However the downfall with a lighter flywheel is that you may fall out of boost faster if you shift slow or miss a gear.

P.S. If you still want the clutch master flywheel I still have it.
