Default Running rc 550's untuned, is it safe

I've got a 99 integra gsr. Looking to turbo charge it soon just had one question. Is it safe to run my car untuned with rc 550's. Or should I go with an FMU and then when i'm ready to tune put the 550's in. Thanks any feed back would be helpful.

Of course NOT!

Neither!!! Get a chipped ECU or an E-manage, put the 550's and finally tune.

Leave the turbo setup off until you're ready to get tuned. If your tuner can't come to you to get it running on 550s and street tune it, leave your stock injectors in and take your wastegate spring out so you don't go into boost on the way to your tuning session. Or better yet, tow/trailer your car to your tuning session.

save your money and get it tuned, tuning > breaking a ringland tuning will win every time.

Hondas are rather unique in that they use MAP sensors, which means major changes like a turbo don't help if the fuel/ign maps aren't tuned. But even a basemap'd or FMU'd GSR will risk blowing up at just 200whp. One WOT run too lean, and the motor is gone. A week pig-rich and your rings will be toast.

Turbo part are not like suspension pieces: you can't put them on one by one - its all or nothing!
