Default RS*R exhaust for Turbo?

Anyone know if the RSR exmag exhaust is doable for turbo aplications, say less than 8psi? The piping is 60mm with a chambered muffler. Since bolting it up to an NA motor does yield power gains i believe that it flows quite a bit more than stock, so i think that it should be ok for turbo but i dont know. I know that straight thru will give the best power but i want something inbetween power and loud *** sound. by sound i want it close to stock as possible. (as loudness is a relative term)

ps. no cutouts either

go w/ the thermal turbo exhaust. I have it on my teg and its real nice. I thought it was gonna sound loud and raspy, but its pretty deep. What are u doing about dump tube? If you have an open wastegate, its gonna be loud.

its easily doable, its just that you will probably make 20 whp or so less by using that instead of a better flowing exhaust. You may try using like a kteller exhaust with one or 2 resonators. Should have a deeper tone to it, no rasp, and hopefully alot quieter than my 3" with no resonators lol.

too small imo. a 3" exhaust will give you better spool up times and better power numbers

I think im one of the only ones who can speak from REAL experience on these exhausts...

3" open downpipe
Rsr Ex-mag
Thermal R&D 3"

Here are the spool times on my setup.....(GT32E on a b16a, stock bore):

3" open downpipe----Full boost 4100-4200rpm
Rsr Ex-mag-----------Full boost 5000-5100rpm
Thermal R&D 3"------Full boost 4400-4500rpm

So yes it works, but it does rob power. Make more than stock? yes.....optimal? not really.....
