You have a tall deck for sure. As for the rods, looks like someone at manley may have put the wrong rods in the box.

from the pic it looks like there is way more than 1mm diff.

b16a=137mm
b18a1,b20b4=137mm
b18c=138mm
b17=131.9mm
h22=143mm
h23=141.5mm
k20=139mm
k24=152mm
</TD></TR></TABLE>

The B16A rods are 5.290" or 134.366mm just that one correction.

This whole deal is FUBAR!!! You sure those are the stock B20 rods? You don't have a B20A do you?

just by looking at the deck its obviously decked (you can tell from the coolant holes from the block gaurd installed and you cant machine a block guard that smooth with out a decking plate.) and considering your using the stock rods that would be your end result. like earl said, source a good crank/rod setup that will work.

226 mm deck height is in fact a talldeck block, 212 mm is the regular B series deck height. I have one myself so I'm 100% sure on this, your block IS a talldeck.

And 5.394" rod lenght is B18B/B20 so that one is as ordered, but what stroke crank do you have in there? And it's all fucked up if you ordered a standard deck height block, because that you don't have

Say you were to cut 9/16" off the top of your block. Would you then say you had the right sized rods and crank in that motor?
The point is that your Manleys are the correct length for what they were made for...a normal sized block.

It's stroker, not stoker.

If you want more displacement to spool a bigger turbo you need a longer crankshaft. Different rods and pistons have no bearing on the displacement of your motor.

I wasnt aware that a bigger bore piston wouldnt affect your displacement

When we're not talking about changing bore size it doesn't.

the real question is this.... how would he confuse an s2k rod for a b20 rod.

also, who's dizzy are you running. that looks like an msd, but it looks nothing like the msd dizzy for the hondas.
