Default Rich & Lean

Well . . . . i'll try to make this short. picked up a new ride as my old car was stolen. Guy tells me o2 is bad because the CEL for the o2 kicked on when he checked the code. I get the car and think to myselfd no way it's the o2. I do some thinking turns out injector had failed.

Ride: 94 DX Hatch
Greddy Turbo Kit (92-95 Civics)
Spearco Front Mount Intercooler
FMU 12:1
Stock Injectors (LS)
Walboro Fuel Pump
MSD 6a Ignition w/Blaster Coil
Fully Built Head (Port & Polished, Camshaft, valve springs, retainers, cam gear & valves)

running stock 5psi

He had it rigged up like this:

Stock Pump
FMU 12:1
Inline Fuel Pump
Stock Injectors
Greddy Kit

I rigged it up this way:

Walboro 255lph
FMU 12:1
Stock LS Injectors (trmporarily)

now get this . . . . at idle when it starts up or idles period it runs pretty damn pig rich. When you go to get into boost for a little bit it's ok, then after a little while the gauge goes from Rich and slowly falls to Lean.

Why is that? Out of all the people I have known that ran a fmu/walboro pump and stock injectors they never had that running lean problem up top . Anyone know why that happens?

Uberdata is going in this week, but for the time being just curious. Could it be the Built Head giving to much air flow up top and not enough fuel?

when you rigged it up, did you leave the inline pump in there? the inline pump and fmu are best friends
