MSRP is always rediculous . . . who buys their stuff directly from the manufacturer nowadays anyways. Shop around and if you get a kit, go with RevHard (or FullRace if youre a baller)

what about the sparks kit. I am pretty interested in that. Does anyone have anything to say about it from experience? It looks to have pretty much everything for a reasonable price.

how many pounds can u run on an LS?
i also plan on boosting an LS motor and wonder how much can it handle on a stock block. dont really plan on doing the internals. also my car will be daily driven and i am looking into buying a Rev hard kit for $2700 shipped. How many pounds is the rev hard kit good for? if i change the wastegate that comes with the kit that only allows 7psi. oh by the way i plan on running hondata later in the future when i get some $$ together.

On the edge but very doable especially with engine management. I ran my old LS at 11psi for 2 years with an FMU.

i want to know what injectors to get to make 300whp. What psi will my setup be able to handle (12.1 fmu, 255 fp, 550 injectors?)?

oh yea engine management makes a huge difference. w/ that 11 lbs wouldnt matter.

it depends on the turbo also. for a t3/t4e, at around 14 maybe a little more you'll hit 300whp w/ the above mentioned parts. if you are planning to use 450 or higher injectors, i dont think that the stock gsr ecu will let you run w/ it. You probably wont even be able to start you car. You'll probably need a engine management to control fueling. An apexi VAFC might be able to do it but it probably wont be able to control the injectors up to that point as an engine management would.

NOT IN A MILLION YEARS...you would be lucky to control anything past 350cc w/a stock LS ecu...CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG! you'd need at least a fields vtec/fuel controller, but that donest control fuel as high as 450cc like the apexi vafc does. look into it...even w/ the apexi vafc it'll still be a long shot.

Stock Honda ECU will not like anything larger than 310cc.

what was all that talk about the manifolds cracking?
i plan to use my boosted hatch as a everyday car and hearing that makes me want to go back to all motor.
so should i be fine with 310 injectors with 10psi w/ hondata or no?
also how much psi is the rev hard kit good for.

It's called gossip and rumor. In any case, we offer a lifetime warranty on DRAG manifolds to address that issue.

so if i got a vafc, will it program itself to work or does it have to be tuned? difficulty? and what injector size will it handle?

Actually it's not gossip and rumors. It actually did happen on 2 of my old drag manifold, the drag 2 and 3 manifolds. If I never saw it happen'd I wouldnt be writing something i've never experienced. Re-welding it couldnt even stop it from not cracking. So I just sold it off and got myself another manifold. I even experience a rev hard tubular cast iron on my h22 eg and that also had a hair line crack. So it's not gossip and rumors. If you got a daily driver and you drive it every single day, you're causing so much stress onto that manifold w/ the downpipe just hanging there and the vibration of the motor, something is going to happen, unless you have someone make custom braces to the downpipe to prevent so much stress on the manifold.

LoL..no it wont program itself. you could adjust the fuel settings yourself but hopefully you get it right. If it's your first time tunning an Apexi VAFC, you should leave it to the expert cause it could get a little confusing playing w/ that thing. You're lucky to tune around 310cc injectors. I could be wrong, but give it a try.

no you'd have to program it yourself...pretty much play w/ it back and forth untill you car likes it. also if you are planning on getting the vafc, you rather just add another bill or two and get a hondata stage 2b....it'll work way better than the vafc.

I personally run the max rev kit. I think that it is sick(and I paid $2300 shipped brand new). However, for fuel and tuning I am using 550's with hondata 3b. My car runs very smooth, hardly ever gives me problems. And I use it to deliver pizzas

i've never heard of a max rev kit or tried it. After going custom turbo, ill probably never go off the shelf turbo kits again. but who knows i might eventually for a daily driven street car.
