Default Retuned after 3" downpipe install, 375whp now (I like it haha)

Well I was reving to 7500 (ls-vtec and girdle-less) with a 2.5" DP with cat.

Now it's a 3" DP with no cat, and revving it to 8000 (I guess I finally said, "oh well screw it")

I know the power output is nothing special compared to some of the big boys here, but I thought I would share it with you.

Scroll down to my other post for the specs....

*Note* Sorry that the units are in vechile speed...but the RPM pickup for the dyno screwed up and didn't read past 7600rpm's (it might have been giggled around or something I dunno.)
Here is the result:

Do you have any old dyno charts or old #s? Does it sound any different?

Here is the old dyno graph with the 2.5" DP and cat and revving to 7500.....

Red line is with vtec, blue is non-vtec (to show the different in power).

As for sound, its just slightly louder (hardly noticable) during daily driving....but once vtec engages, its sounds damn mean and noticably louder.

hahaha thanks man, I tried but the dyno's rpm pickup was being gay again and not showing anything past 7600 rpm's

You need to hurry the hell up and get over there and tune yours!

no, I am going to go with the ERL 5 main girdle. Good company, great product. Some may same its useless and don't waste the money, but I don't like taking any chances since its my daily driver.

the graphs dont look significantly different. i cant really tell how much HP you might have gained from switching to 3"...maybe its just me.. but your car is still making good power tho

To be honest I can't really give that great of a comparison.....since I have the shitty deltagate wastegate, I was hitting boost cut sooner after switching to the 3" DP. Sooo I had to turn down the boost a little so it would still be under 15psi. The main difference is just with revving those extra 500rpm's.

Nice job man! That is one of the most conservative reading dynos in the area, too. 375 is a really good showing.

I don't generally spend very much time on CSS... Too many ********. I used to be a mod of the tuning forum on CSR, but too much drama + bs there.

We've probably met down at the bum or Bemmer or some cruise in or something... I work for Zerolift doing their tuning stuff...
