Well, welcome to the board Javier. If you do a search, you will find many people upset with your company and service. Maybe you can post your side of some of these problems?
The mods should probably take off your post limit so we can get to the core of the problems.

hey jgredline, can you explain my friends fully built b16 with a 1.8 stroker breaking a "titanium" retainer and dropping a valve and also wouldnt you put dual springs on a retainer that was meant for dual springs???? engine was only used for 4000 miles and never mis-treated (sp?)..... that was a big waste of 5g's on his part, as well as sending him a block that was had part cracked on it, as well as a cracked valve cover and also not sending him a header that he payed for... i hope you guys go out of business... you guys blow

oh yea and one more thing, he payed up front full price of the engine and you guys told him he is top priority since he payed up full and that the engine would be at his house in 3-4wks, took more like 4months go get a big chunk of aluminum crap from you guys

Woahhh....Javier! I think it took yall long enough to finally respond to the things said on here as well as superhonda and other sites! Honestly I am glad to see you on here so you can finally hear first hand what people have said. I personally am a dissatisfied customer. I also think your company tries to take advantage of individuals who are thousand's of miles away, which seems to be an on going trend. Your company really lacks customer service, and was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company in this industry. Just look at my signature! Try talking with people instead of blowing them off and having us talk to Nancy!
We'll I now have to get back to work. Do a search! Have fun !

it's obvious to me you have some big time PR issues, and that your company rides on race reputation, and makes the money off the small guys who buy it. That's been your rep on nearly every major site for over 5 years, probably more. I'd love to see what you have to say about all these situations that are going to be posted on this thread, as well as what you plan on doing to correct the situation, because it's going to take a huge change of doing business in order to change these people's minds. I hear a new bad story on your company at least every week.

Hi JG - I figured you had a side to tell. Like I said I never had a problem with JG. I know alot of people love to trash talk (me included - see my first reply) but I believe that alot of people who blow races look for someone to blame so that they don't have to look at themselves. I wonder how many out of the thousands of customers JG has had have been happy with their product. no one ever takes the time to praise a good thing. the proof is in the pudding - how much HP has JG added to your setup and how many races have been won with JG power???? I know I never get on a site like this to tell everone how happy I am with something. It also seems like alot of those complaining are also using the space to sell their friends busness. I thought this was a forum to find answers not for covering up for ones own shotfalls and scapegoating. I hate when people use forums to do air dirty laundry. Hay JG, I'll love to buy that block is the $4000.00 price still good. send me a email if it is. I never pass ou a good deal.

I have been trying to get a hold of you for months now about the D16Z block I got from you. Here is a link to the first one I got 5 months after I paid for it http://www.midwestimports.bizland.com/Bradengine.htm. I called and complained like every customer would. You finally got back to me 6 days later and paid to have this block shipped back. I finally got a "better" block 2 months after the first one but it still isn't up to par as I should have received for as much as I paid.
First off, there are cracks between where the iron sleeves are mated together. This won't hold the 30 lbs of boost you claimed to me.

Second, one of the cylinders has a scratch all down the sleeve that you can run your finger nail in. (All 4 sleeves had this the last time).

Third, the oil pickup screen is full of brass shavings.

Fourth, how are these balanced? I posted a few month ago on honda-tech that my con-rod weight were way apart (Anywhere from 260-300+). To me, this engine isn't balanced unless I am missing something here. (Sorry, I can't find the post right now)

Fifth, the feed for the oil filter isn't completely touching the block. My good friend and honda mechanic for 10 years said this would have little to no oil pressure.

Like I said, I have been trying to get a hold of you for months. I either get the run around that you aren't available or you aren't there. I have left dozens of messages and countless emails but nothing has been returned to me except an email saying you will call me the next day. You never did as you know.

I spoke with Darius on Sunday night and explained what I went through. I see your post and feel something must be done about my situation as well (and many many others as well). Since I paid $2700 for a worthless block, something MUST be done. Luckily I paid by Credit Card and have some backing. Ever wonder why JG doesn't accept credit cards anymore, I am probably the reason (At least one of them I am sure .

Javier, either way, I will send you the email I sent you months ago. My email address is ladysman@a5.com . I am sure you recognize it. If I call, will I get to speak to you or get the runaround as usual? In any event, customer thousands of miles away should get treated as though they are 1 block away. Plain and simple.

Thanks,

Brad Ryan

Pigman, I think you should have put your sarcasim to the side on this one. On this forum ,as well as Superhonda, this seems to be a popular yet serious topic. The main thing here is that it's an on-going trend. If you do a search I am pretty sure many were happy with products from JG such as there intake manifold. I personally have a JG Pro Series block, although I would not recommened anyone after the trouble I went through with these people. You say you have dealt with them 10+ years, which I doubt it's been that long, but besides that most likely your a shop! It just seems that shops get priority over individuals, which is not right. I went through hell with dealing with these people. After Nancy told me Javier is ig noring my messages I demanded to speak to someone and a shop manager got on the phone, and I assume it was his Javier's wife. After I threatened to cancell my credit card on two blocks they had, Javier called back within the hor and thing's were finally done. Nevertheless my problems were just beginning. I will put up a link to some past articles when I get home.
I really want to know what Javier had to say about all this!

it should probably be noted that JG Engine Dynamics and JG Edelbrock are two companies, ran by two different people.

I had a "pro series" engine build done on my GSR and damn if i NEVER had ANY problems what -so- ever... it's was flawless and damn if it didnt hold up to a few of my 14+psi boost spikes (hehe.. boost controller RTFM RTFM).. it might have taken a couple months to get it back but no complaints here...

LOL. From JGs website "JG ENGINE DYNAMICS INC. will no longer be accepting credit cards due to a number of cases involving credit card fraud."
