The JG Edelbrock was a joint effort between the two companies to develop import parts. Hmmm...wonder why the JG is disappearing from the new parts.

Personally, I have not heard too much good things about JG, and that's just from talking to people, not any H-T members.

in my opinion, true import enthusiasts have such a poor impression of JG engine dynamics that it would take an act of GOD to reverse it.

sorry javier, its not 1998 anymore.

JG has alwayz had a bad name since the beginning of he import scene. They only do good work on a select few, but mess up the rest. I've heard bad things about JG since '95, and that's from local people here in L.A.

This string and the related one has been REAL interesting! Resolving this sort of problem is near impossible on the web due to the fact that it's not possible to "know" the person doing the posting.

What gets me is that JG only did the one post and then didn't follow up on the string. That may be understandable if he feels that it's a worthless case. But it sure doesn't look good.

The other thing is that the web page that he made up for his "response" was on geocities and not on the company web site. As a result, if somebody was looking through the company web site, there was no way that they could happen upon the "response" page.

Wes.
