Default Got screwed bigtime by JG!

I've posted before about there reputation and I got alot of negative feedback. It was to late!

I just recieved my "JG pro series block"HAHAHAHA, bull ****!!!! I ordered a block and I wanted closed deck with 9:1 compression. How can u **** that up?? I opened my package today and I flipped out. What I witnessed was a pile of scrap, useless scrap.

First off it wasn't even closed deck
second it was painted black
third I can't even spin the crank, it was all slapped together and it shows.
fourth number 3 and 4 sleeves are damaged from a CNC machine trying to make it closed deck and it looked like they could'nt do it, so they just left it
fifthly-1 and 2 sleeves are split where they attach

I did not recieve a spec sheet with the block, all I got was a CD with (Jack's block b18c1 pics) on it. My name isn't Jack.

I called JG and spoke with a complete MORON named Miguel or something. He gave me B.S and told me to return it. I told him that I want a full refund. He told me that's not a problem, but there's a catch. I told him I was through taking word of mouth over the phone and I told him to fax me a letter explaining I will recieve a full refund and that I wanted it signed...well, now he tells me they charge %25 for returns. I explained I contacted my lawyer and my lawyer said he LOVES this kind of stuff!!!

What I want from u guys is to email me if u got screwed by JG. I have, big time. And also I don't think Javier understands that it stops with me because he would'nt even speek with me and I WILL TAKE THEM DOWN. It needs to stop here! And I am very persistant and I will not stop!!!!!!!!!

Pics of this garbage motor will be posted very soon.

Sounds about right. You have to be a rich, visible racer to get good work out of them.

Last summer I bought a JG Proseries head. Well after installing it it turns out it had bad valve seals, and everytime you started the car it smoked like crazy. It really wasnt a big deal, I spoke to Javier and he took car of it for me.

I'm sorry it happened, and good luck with your battle.

You know, what I've been hearing lately about JG kinda reminds me of the stories I was hearing about Gude years and years ago. Perhaps the good folks at Gude abandoned ship and resurfaced as JG? Perhaps JG really stands for Just Gude, a thinly veiled name swap to confuse those of us nusing a grudge with Gude?

I..... Like.... My..... Overbored.... Throttlebody....

If course, it was done about 3 years ago, before JG got a big head I'd bet.

And YES, I cleaned up the RTV on that MAP port nipple.

Man sorry to hear that. You should of research this before doing business with them. I threatned to cancell my credit card on two blocks I had with them, which I told Javier's wife. He returned my call within the hour.
I cannot begin to stress how Javier and Joey screw people over! He's taking advantage of regular customers because we are so far away. You never hear of shops having problems with them. One thing though, if Javier ever calls you keep them number that comes up on your caller id. I tried many times to call and Nancy straight up tells me how they blow me off, although he always picked up off the number he called me from. Knida suprises him !
I still do not know how Edlebrock got involved with these people! HOW?

Yes, GUDE is a company from hell to deal with. They managed to poorly pack my head and ship it, UPS did a gude job ******* it up to hell, thank god it was replaced for free. other then that, gude does pretty good work, im happy , just really shitty customer service. Another thing though, i read you couldnt spin your crank... if you use new rod bearings the crank will not spin as freely as it did before with new ones, at least this is my experience with 3 blocks that ive assembled, each one of them have zero problems to date. im sorry t ohear about your luck, JG sucks
