True, but a regular one won't work..the signal will be too low and the needle will barely move, if at all! You need a digital multimeter....which is around $40

I used a 10 dollar meter analog meter, you are just looking for continuity. Set it to the ohm meter unplug each injector clip and stick the probe in one of the clips. Then go through the connector in the above picture and probe each pin, when the meter bangs all the way to the right you got the wire that goes to the clip the probe is in. Cut and or mark that wire and move on to the next clip.
kinda stealing the thread...im not the best at wiring stuff. i have the resistor box w/ 5 wires coming out of it. couldnt i just cut the power wire coming from each injector pretty close to the end of the clip to make sure i was getting the right wire, and wire each wire on the injector side to each of the 4 red wires and just connect all 4 of teh wires coming from teh ecu side to eachother then to the 1 last wire on the resistor box? is that right?
Sorry, but this is gonna be a little off topic, but is it possible to use RX-7 injectors, that are side not top positioned in a 94 civ ex? They are saturated and 440cc, Thanks for the help

I work in the telecom industry, we use wire tracers or "Toners" everyday. They work awesome for tracing wires through a wire harness. I think Electricians use something similar when tracing lines through their installs. I believe you can find similar tracers for sale at any hardware store where they sell all the electrical supplies.
