Default Injector Resistor Wiring Question

This is reference to the write up that is found here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=517274

Question:

1.) I measure continuity to figure out which four wires go to the injectors. Then that means that the other 4 wires that are not for the injector signals will be the ones that are soldered to the red wire on the resistor box right?

2.) So then where do I solder the black wires on the resistor box? Do I "T" them into the injector signal wires? Use the above picture for reference.

ok the red wire from the resistor box goes to the grey plug you hook it to the 4 yellow black wire that went to the injectors
then the 4 yellow black hook to the 4 black wires on the box
so basicly you are putting the resistor box inline with the 4 yellow black wires
hope i said that right

OOOHHH I think I got it. I had to read that like 2-3 times for it to sink in haha. Basically it looks like there are 8 wires in total on that particular distribution block. I am only going to be dealing with 4 of them. The red is soldered to all four yellow/black that are coming out of the grey distribution block. Then I solder the black resistor box wires to the other end (since I cut the yellow/black wires) of the wires coming from the injectors. Thanks man...your comment of "so basicly you are putting the resistor box inline" helped me understand.

EDIT: haha you posted that picture as I was writing the reply. Thats just what I thought. Thanks again!

Time to go put some Precision 1000's on the car Tuning is tomorrow so this could be fun haha

so I am measuring continuity right now and I am getting readings from more than one hole on the distribution block when I keep the injector the same. Like I mean I am measuring injector #2 to start with and I am getting readings in more than one hole on the grey connector. Is this normal?

hmm no, did you take the plug and little white plastic piece out of the grey plug???

i took the plug out...I'm assuming I need to remove the white piece as well before measuring?

yes i would make sure you only touching 1 lead, all 4 wires are in a square, well on my car anyway

I'll go try to remove the white piece then....most likely I'll be back in 5 minutes hahaha

Going from left to right and starting on the top row:

15,85,0,85
85,0,85,39

Those are the measurement I am getting. I am holding one probe on injector clip number #2 and thats a constant. I then touch each pin on the picture above and thats what I got. I have not touched the injector clips on the other ones yet. So I'm assuming that the ones that are giving me 85 are my injector wires?

i dont know what #'s you are getting, just look for continuity
my multi meter has a buzzer so i just touch 1 wire on the black/yellow on the injector and the other in the grey plug and start touching wires untill it beeps and that is your wire

so start with #1 and find it and cut it, then move to #2 find it then cut, etc...
that make sense?

I see....I was measuring in ohms. I was putting the multimeter on 200K

I understand what you are saying completely...I'm just confused as to why I am getting readings when I touch several different pins when I hold the probe on one injector clip and don't move it

yea you just need to check for continuity
it should on beep for 1 wire, make sureyou take that white clip out so you are getting a good connection on each wire
