Removal of internal wastegate
Is it possible to remove the internal wastegate from a T3 and just use an external wastegate from the manifold? If so how would you go about disconnecting/removing the actual internal wastegate? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Depends, how bolts is the turbine housing? All you do is unbolt the swingvalve housing from the turbine and get a block off plate, bolt it up and put an external w/g on your manifold, if the swingvalve is built into the turbine housing then weld the thing shut from the inside and put an external on your mani. Thats all

If there is a seperator wall between the wastegate and the turbine outlet on the turbine housing, then you just have to block it off at the flange.
If there isn't a seperator wall, or if you don't want to make a block-off plate, you can weld the door shut, just be careful.
