internal to external wastegate

First off yes i searched....Now my question, can you somehow disable an internal wastegate on a turbo so that you can run an external one on your manifold?
yes there is. remove the internal wastegate actuator arm and spring housing, then weld the internal gate shut. if your manifold isnt already built for it have a flange welded to it for the external gate, bolt on the external and hook up your hoses.

If you have the room, you can keep the internal wastegate actuator bracket and just run a long solid bolt. This will keep the internal wastegate flapper shut at all times. This would prevent you having to weld anything or mess up your turbine housing.
