They are reliable and work fine... direct substitute for bosch pumps. Some people mistakenly believe that they don't need the DRAG/airtex pump cuz they have an intank, but as as has been discussed here a million times if you are using an fmu, you must use an inline pump...

****... i have a walbro pump and a 12:1 fmu... i thought i was fine (2nd day boosting (rarely))... i should definitely hook the intank up as well?

You NEED an Inline pump period.

Thanks a lot for all ur responses..i never planned on using a intank, i only planned on upgradding to a sx higher flowing psi pump.

Yeah. If you are running a FMU then you need to run the inline pump as well as the intank. You dont need to upgrade the intank one. If you are running a standalone and not using the FMU then the inline is not necessary.

what if your running say a piggy back system like greddy or AEM would you need to run an inline???

We tested the Airtex fuel pump up to 150psi.

it's not about the pressure i wanna know how much fuel can it flow at those elevated pressures

example 50gallons at 90psi walbro pump
