Well, here are my comments to your list I'm assuming this is on some kind of OBD1 B-series motor in a civic or 'teg?

used t3/t40e Turbo..........................................$40 0.00
- Well, you can buy used, but I'd rather get a brand new one for $250 more and not take any risks.....

RevHard Manifold.......................................... ..$310.00
- SFP makes some KILLER manifolds.....I especially like their GSR manifold design, hit up my site to see what kind of power we're making on SFP manifolds...but they're about $140 more than the revhard

tial wastegate w/ dump tube.............................$250.00
- You should be able to find a tial 35mm for like $200, and they include a dumptube flange.....just weld a small segment of pipe on there and clamp some flextube to it for a dumptube and save yourself $50....

custom oil cooler for turbo................................$55.00
- $55 is probably on the high end.....an oil cooler really isn't necessary though....I'd spend the money on a better manifold or a new turbo personally.....

various gaskets........................................... ....$100.00
- A little high, but good to have some room to mess with

ngk bkr7e............................................. ..........$15.00
- Yep

dsm injectors w/ cleaning by cruisin perf...........$150.00
- Send them to RC, same price ($50 for injectors, $100 for cleaning)

downpipe.......................................... ..............$100.00
- You'll need some 2.5 inch pipe and a 2.5 inch mandrel doughnut to cut.....you may need one more 90 degree bend, but all those won't cost you more than like $40 and some welding

misc hardware (clamps, hoses, etc)...................$200.00
- A little high $$$

Autometer boost guage (b/c it has psi readings).$60.00
- More like $50 (yeah, I'm bein picky )

Greddy egt guage............................................$ 150.00
- Good call

gauge pod............................................... ........$30.00
halmeter af30.............................................. ....$200.00
- Why? You have an EGT, spend $100 for some dyno time somewhere with a wideband, tune there, and spend the $100 you save on something else

XS boost controller........................................ ...$100.00
custom exhaust w/ gutted cat............................$300.00

intercooler....................................... ................$400.00
intercooler piping............................................ ..$100.00
- Used stuff I imagine? Pricing for this kind of thing is tough to judge, hopefully you'll find a good deal on someone selling a used IC off a kit with piping....if you make your piping out of aluminum mandrel, it'll probably be closer to $200

bov (hks or blitz)............................................ ..$200.00
- Get a turboXS type H and save yourself $70

msd ignition set (ext coil, wires, dist. Cap)..........$150.00
- If you get it used, but it's not really necessary if you need the money somewhere else

hondata........................................... ................$650.00
- Hondata RULES!!

Overall a pretty complete setup......you have an aftermarket clutch to hold the power already? I'm kinda sleepy so hopefully I didn't say anything stupid.....you'll love 'da boost, just do it right and tune it right...

It's a 90 Plymouth Laser side mount intercooler. I just cut stock brackets and welded on my mounts.

as far as the compressor on the drivers side the turbine is in good line with stock exhaust.

Dyno's with wideband O2's stick them in the tailpipe in your muffler to read the A/F mix. If you install your EGT properly (in the turbo manifold, on cyl 3 if possible) and learn how to read it, that's all the info you'll need about how lean/rich you're running AFTER the wideband tuning at the dyno......

yah... egt is better. a/f isn't as accurate and pretty much only reads at WOT. Although once i tested my a/f with the afc on my car (only intake). Totally stock the car would read say the last few greens, with the intake it would go a couple bars up towards stoich (but still green), then i put the afc to +2% then it went back down to all the way green. hehe. can u tell i had too much time on my hands?

Turbos not on the car YET:

T3=$50
oil & coolant hoses and clamps=$20
BOV=$12
Adjustable cartech FMU=$60
HF manifold=Free from old motor swap
B&M FP Guage=$34
Autometer Boost=$50
Autometer A/F=$60
Oil pan fitting=free (custom)
charge pipes=$20 (custom)

I am planning on getting a fuel pump and IC a soon as I can, but I might run without one for the moment without going max boost and driving conservativly until I get an IC. But it's not on yet so I don't worry. What helped me out the most is having the spare motor to mount all my parts on and fit it right so I know I am not missing anything. The cartech FMU is pretty nice because it has an adjustable static FPR and a rising rate one too so I am using it on my NA setup right now and it works real nice. I am going to try it without the fuel pump and look at the fuel pressure and the a/f guage (and read plugs) to see if I really need one (I now some peeps that run without a high pressure one and they run well w/ FMU).

Hopefully later I might get an AFC and go for the AFC hack with some 450cc injcetors.
