Default Recommended Nitrous System?

I am Looking to spend about 400$ on a good Nitrous system.

On a stock d15b7 (just bolt ons), im looking to squeeze a little power out of it and I want to get accustomed to using nitrous as I am going to be using it once I get a swap.

So what kit is the best for its money and most reliable? I have been looking at the ZEX kits, and they seem good and low cost, but I'm open to other suggestions. Also how helpful is a purge kit for the nitrous and on a stock setup what might I want to look at upgrading?

I have heard i need 2 degree colder of a spark plug from stock.

Is there anything else than that?

By the way, My engine is in good condition.

Sorry for asking what might seem like dumb questions but I just do not know much about Nitrous.

nx has a good system for 35 shot...which should be extremely safe for ur D engine. but..i don't think its 400 bucks though.

the NX is the better of the kits on the market today. It comes with absolutely everything you need. also, it comes with the bigger pro fogger solenoids for better nitrous distribution and they dont lock open or shut like the cheaper NOS ones. Of all of the kits the last one i would recommend is the zex. Its a dry kit that runs off bottle pressure which means it relies on the injectors to kick more fuel rather than using its own fuel like a wet fogger does. I wouldnt bargain shop on a nitrous kit. You get what you pay for.

I would reccomend ZEX. I had it on my car for 2 years, ran through close to 15 bottles. I used a 55 shot with colder plugs and 92 octane. Ive never had a problem. Its a good system. My only other Nitrous Manufacturer ive experienced is a NX purge valve. Which had great quality as well. The solenoid appear and functioned about 100x better than a NOS brand one. If you want simplicity go with ZEX. If you want a little more hands-on do it yourself work get the NX. both id say give you similar results and the same realiability. Although there probably was a reason that ZEX was on backorder for a while. (from what ive heard).

You dont use nitrous on a D15.

Here is why..........

stock puny rods just can't take it.
