Default 10:5:1 to much for boost?

I just picked up a b18a1 block with JE 10:5:1 pistons and eagle rods. I was thinking on getting some different pistons in 9:1 or somewhere in that range. I planned on tearing it down and having the block looked at and add some new bearings and rings at the very least. The block has been sitting around for a year. The guy got it off his friend who put 15000 miles on it then parted the head and block out. From what I understand the block was sprayed a few times. This block will be going in my DD crx. I plan to run no more then 350hp. Should I use them or no?

Tuning is key. I have boosted 11.0:1 at 12 psi with no problems.

you have the answer. find a good tuner. my friend ran 13lbs on the stock comp on his GSR and rolled out around 320whp.
