If you are boosting than I would olny used forged internal such as pistons and a good set of rods. I recommend CP Pistons and the new Eagle rods w/ 3/8 rod bolts. You don't have to use forged internals but its recommended. As for prices ask Earl from Laskey racing. I would buy a complete engine gasket kit and new OEM oil pump. PLEASE get a good engine management so you don't blow your money building this engine and F it all up with a crappy E/M. As for the rest of your turbo stuff check my sig below and contat the guys at phoenix turbo!

Also get a good set of dual valve springs you dont want to ruin everything by dropping a valve!!!!!!!!

only if you have cams/headwork and plan on revving past 7500. ive taken my beat *** stock ls head to 7500 many times and no probs. much above that and it goes downhill.

eagle rods and some forged piston (je, arias, wiseco, cp). go oem for bearings and gaskets. then u are done. oh arp headstuds help nicely. now youve got a 350-400whp capable motor.

If your going to spend all that money building a motor why would you risk it with an FMU?
Get uberdata or crome and a wideband. Youll be happy.

hmm, i hate fmu's, but that doesnt mean they arent very good for specific applications:

low boost like 6 or 7 psi, you can run colder plugs and take about 2 degrees timing out of the dist. and be perfectly fine on an ls due to its lower compression. i recommend getting a rising rate one.

however, if u are paying money for aftermarket motor parts, get real management that you can program using your computer. this would include hondata, uberdata, chrome, etc...

the management controls fuel (you will need larger than stock fuel injectors if you run stock fuel pressure), and depending on which one you get, it should control ignition timing and many other things like redline etc...
