On the my wastegate i have two ports, are they both suppose to be connected or does it
matter? oh and where does the lower vacuum port suppose to go if needed? THANKS
Sorry I don't know much about the wastegate so don't murder me on the subject.

 

the top port is for a boost controller just hook up the bottom port if you dont have one.

 

the bottom port just to manifold pressure... the top port is not used unless you have a ebc

 

Ok I hooked up the vacuum line to the lower port and I couldn't build boost and the car ran kinda rough... WTF?... So I hooked to back up to the top port and I build boost and every thing is smooth but I spike over 10lbs and I my ecu cuts the boost at 10 (to be on the safe side)... So I dont know what to do... Any help is very much appreciated!

if you run just a line to the top, boost will hold it shut.
where is your boost reference?

where is your boost reference?</TD></TR></TABLE>yeah i was wondering why id boost 10lbs+ when theres only a 3lbs spring inside the wastegate..... the gaskets that i used for the wastegate looked REALLY old and crappy. Could this possibly be a reason behide the lower port not working PROPERLY? Leakage? Oh and right now im just trying to get every thing running before I put the bigger spring in so 3lbs ....
