Reading Boost
Is there any other way I can make my car read boost besides modding the ecu? It seems that because my cars automatic I'm screwed and I don't have the money to convert it to stick.

Re: Reading Boost (nicktagz)
unless you do an ems not really
unless you can do a VPC ( vein pressure converter) from hks.. but i dont think they work on manuals. only other option would be to use a VAFC or AFC-NEO. Then you can tune the car with a different kind of MAP sensor ( ? ive done it on dsms, never tried it on a honda- very popular with guys doin nissan sr20 swaps too.... )

Re: Reading Boost (BoostedB16EJ)
you CAN also use a map diffuser ( basically it cuts the MAP signal out before it sees boost and fuel-cuts. this shows a 0psi vaccum load at peak. couple that with a piggy-back ( greddy e-manage or AFC) and you can tune around the stock computer's maps.
