Default theory on testing boost limit of stock map, will this work?

i wanna see exactly where my stock map sensor will make the boost tables stop and run off the last column. so if i hook a vac/boost pump up to the line on the stock map and a volt meter to the map signal out put and just add boost slowly till the map sensor stops changing voltage this will determine the max psi the stock map will read under boost right? whereever it stops changin voltage should be exactly where the boost limit is right?

also i hear something of obd0 maps which i am using cut off a bit less than obd1, true or no?

That should work but is completely unnecessary as fuel and ignition tables use interpolation to find out what fuel and ignition values to use. This would be useful in setting boost cut if anything.

"Interpolation" is a middle value/calculation the ecu does of in this case four cells beeing read by the ecu.

four cells being read????im not sure i get it? my ecu tune table stops at 10.8 psi on the graph. im runnin 12 right now. i richened it up enough to compensate for the extra psi till i install my 3 bar . i also did the test with the map sensors. the stock crx si map sensor reads boost to 10 psi and then stops changing voltage. the 92-95 TB mounted map sensor reads boost to 11 psi then stops changing voltage. so im usin the TB one..
