re-calibrating boost guage

Default re-calibrating boost guage

just wondering if this was possible, i have an autometer guage and without even being plugged in its sitting at 6 psi. is there any way to recalibrate it?

ive noticed that when putting the hose on the back, sometimes overtightening the hose fitting can make the gauge read 1-2lbs whne no pressure is applied. you could try and turn the threaded part back so the needle is at 0. i haven;t tried this yet.
