BOOST guage question!!
Well i got this autometer boost guage for pretty cheap off this guy. So i went on the autometer site and read the install. the diagram shows that the guage should have: adapter, sealing unit, grommet, ferrule, and all that crap that my guage didnt come wiht. i'm wondering if the guage can jsut read presure if i put and adapter (with a nipple) on the screw thing and put the vacuum tube on to that. Will That work? AM I DOOMED ? i thought a boost guage was really simple ??? ......
(in short my guage came with nothing from the adapter on back, can i jsut find and addapter with a nipple and make it work!)
thanks guys. and o yea i searched, and reading those installs dont help for this.

as long as you hook up a vacuum tube from the gauge to a vac. source, it will work.
if you need to use a nipple or something to get hook up the vac. hose then it will still be fine

why not just buy the autometer copper tubing kit for around 10 bucks.... you will get all the fitting you need + upgraded tubing
