Default rc440 install problem

sup guys , im having a problem installing my 440's.

i know they dont sing all the way into the manifold , but when i have them in , my aem fpr hits my throttle body butterfly . the manifold is intalled all the way i dont see how this is even possible . what am i doing wrong?

If your fpr is hitting your t/b butterfly that would mean your fuel rail is in your t/b.??? How is that even possible

my bad i wasnt thinkin , not the butterfly , where the throttle cable wraps around

Yeah mine did that too, until I bent the bracket that holds the throttle cable. I called AEM about it and they confirmed that I had the rite fpr????doesn't seem rite to me but oh well

but how , it didnt do it with my stock injectors why is it doing it now

The new ones are probably longer. Not sure, I didn't have stock injectors in either.

more then likely your new injectors are biggger then your stock injectors

What kinda motor is it? WHat kinda fuel rail? Is your FPR on the end of the rail toward the #1 cyl.? This is confusing... how is it hitting anything to do with your throttle body? Is the rail backwards? :confused:

It's hitting the throttle cable bracket. Where it mounts to the IM I believe

that is correct , this is a d16y8 the fpr is above the cyl 4 runner....
