radiator leak, tiny hole on tube... is it fixable with jb weld?
okay, working on the car today, i accidentally dropped a wrench in my engine bay and it punched a tiny hole on one of the radiator tubes. i know anyways, the hole is tiny, about the size of a ballpoint pen tip, but it is big enough that coolant started to leak out. anyways, is this fixable with jb weld? if not, what do you suggest? i really dont want to get a new radiator at this time. please help, thanks in advance.
*cliff notes*
- tiny hole on radiator tube
- leaks coolant
- can i fix it with jb weld?
- if not, what can i do?

try a pouring a can of black pepper while the car is running into the radiator. either that or a hard boiled egg thats had the shell peeled off...seriously. but just buy a new radiator if you want it done 100% right

I've had two leaks on two radiators, one in the fin part, and one on a tank. I fixed both perfectly with some clay crap from your common auto parts store. The clay that I have is green, you just mix it with a gray clay, put it on the leak, and it dries rock hard. Been like that for 3+ years.

My friend has a GSR which started to leak. He put some stop leak in, I think it was prestone or valvoline or something, and his radiator exploded. I mean not in a firey ball or anything. But it burst.
There are epoxies around that can easily withstand the temperature of a radiator repair. Depending on how large the repair is, they may not be able to withstand the pressure however. If its just a small hole, I'd think the jb or devcon would work fine. But because of the previous posts about the clay working better, now I think I'd try that first! Anybody got a URL for that clay stuff?
