Default quiet muffler for a turbo teg?

ok I am soooo tired of my loud exhaust.. I want something very quiet.. I have a 2.5" mandle bent cat back system with a xtech muffler ( a straight thought muffler)
it is very very very deep in sound.. on a db meter at 300 rpm and the guy was a meter away I hit 95or 97 db and reving the motor over 5000 I hit over 110db.. it doesn't sound that loud, as it is deep.. during a coast down to a light or stop sign, my rear view mirrow shakes like I have 2 -10" subs in there.. I do get head aches from it.. my car does not sound like a honda.. not at all!.. but it is too loud.. please.. help..
I am thinking of getting a flow master and a resinator, with not tip as my car is a sleeper (my 3-1/2" SS tip and SS muffler housing kills my sleeper look right now..)
any sugestions???
oh my car is a 98 intega rs witha drag III kit

The quietest exhaust that I have heard is the Greddy SP. My bussy had it on his turbo LS and it sounded bad ***, but quiet when he wanted it to. The tanabe G medallion is also quiet. But if I were you I would try to deal with the noise, the quieter the muffler the more restrictive it is, meaning less power.

Try a 16-18" "dimple in"(as in holes punched into the deadening material vs punched into the exhaust flow as some cheap brands have) resinator before you ditch your exhaust... Makes a pretty good difference on NA and SC applications... bet it would make even a larger improvment on a turbo car...

konig and rative make one buty one thing they are 2-1/4 and my exhaust is 2-1/2.. so I don't wana go down in size.. but I was thinking that..
I do plan on getting rid of my exhause.. as the tip is big and I am not into that anymore.. a 2-1/2 tip max is what I want.. plus I hear straight throught exhausts are elegal in this area..

a flowmaster? hahaha no way jose. never get that for an import.

greddy and trust mufflers seem to be the quietest exhausts ive ever heard. i got tanabe and that **** is loud on my car. but its deep. none of that rice rocket rattling for me.

a 2.5" resonator in the middle of the piping and a Dynomax ultraflo muffler(get the welded racing version for sleeper looks). THe regular has a stainless steel housing. You can't beat Dynomax for price and quality. They're quiet(like the thermal stealth uprgrade) and costs 50 bucks a muffler(for any size stright through.

I'm on dyomax's site. The Super Turbo has only a flow rate of 410 cfm, while the Ultra Flows are both over 1000 cfm . What kind of difference is this?

Also, what difference in sound?

Is there anyway to put a silencer type thing or resonator on a 3" thermal? That way you still have the exhaust that offers maximum power, a nice looking tip, and not too loud... I'd be real interested if someone has done something like this with their thermal.

There is 2 things you can do on the thermal.

1. Send in the thermal back to thermal and get the "stelth" upgrade. Which I think looses about 3 whp from what Ive heard.

2. Buy a 1' 3" resinator and weld it into the exhaust path.
