Quick Revhard turbo fitment ?
ok i was talking to one of my buddies the other day who has a si with a revhard kit...he told me that he had to shave part of his block to make the turbo fit...
i have a 97 gsr motor goin into my teg and was wondering if i would have any fitment issues with the turbo and the block...i know i might have some problems with the radiator...for that i might go to a civic rad.
anyone else have any problems?

yes you will have the shave a peice of the block, it is one of the webings on the block..if you are using the T3/T04E trim you will have to shave.. if you use a smaller turbo such as a T3 or T3/T04B trim you dont need too..it will clear with a stcok radiator you dont need to get get a civic radator.

This is how much I had to shave off with my Rev-hard using a T04E compressor housing. When my Rev-hard cracked I bought an InlinePRO manifold and it cleared so much better. You do not have to shave anything with an Inlinepro manifold and I have a large T04E housing.

inline pro manifolds clear a turbo more than a revhard?? I thought they cleared the same.

Alot of people think that inlinePRO is exactly like rev-hard. There are so many little things that they made better. Its easy to access the bolts for the turbine housing, the oil feed fitting, and it clears the block with out cutting. This is why I like this manifold so much because you keep AC and you dont have to cut anything off of the block.
This is why I sell and recomend it.

He's not kidding...I love the Revhard manifolds, but the Inline pro pretty much is a Revhard with all the little quirks worked out
