Quick Qustion About Chipped ECUs
Hey guys,
I had a question about chipped/socketed ECUs. If my ECU is socketed for Hondata(which I'm presently running), would I need to do anything to it to make it compatible with other tuning programs like Crome? Are the resistor/jumper connections specific to Hondata, or can I just pull out my Hondata and run a normal chip/Crome/etc?

Re: Quick Qustion About Chipped ECUs (93turbo16)
A better way to describe it would be:
Hondata s100/s200 ecus are all socketed/chipped with a 28pin socket and chip.
They have a 4 pin header which is used for the s100 or s200 system to plugin,
Crome, Neptune, eCtune, Uberdata almost everything besides hondata s300 use a 28 pin socket.
Hondata s300 uses male pins instead of a socket & 4 pin header as 93turbo16 described.
To run a different system besides hondata, simply unplug the s100/s200 unit & install the new eprom chip into the socketed ecu

Ok Ok, a little more in depth.
