I have a brand new OEM head gasket installed, turned the motor over drove the car for about 3 miles parked it and have to tear the engine down because I decided to do a rebuild. Do I need to go buy another head gasket or can I still use the one I just put on the car?

 

Its compromised once torqued, buy another if your not living on food stamps

 

i have reused them in a pinch and had no issues, but once torqued they are technically supposed to be changed.
