Cometic HEad gasket question

Okay, i put the head on (with my new cometic headgasket), torqued it down, noticed something, pulled head back off.............Motor hasn't left stand.

Can i re-use my cometic or will it need to be replaced?

I wouldnt reuse it I was told that its the initial "squash" torqued down is why they shouldnt be reused.

yes u can re-use the head gasket it has not even gone thru a single heat cycle!

Reuse it dude.

Im sure once you put in on again, squash it down.. Once it hits heat. It will seal and expand nicely.
