questions on downpipe and bungs
Hi, HT
I've searched but couldnt quite find answers for my question.
I really want to boost honda oneday and in need for some help from boost honda owners.
I'm planning on getting 3" dp. I noticed that there are 2 or 3 bungs that can put on dp. what are these for? such as bungs for tuner's wideband, my wideband, and o2sensor. are all these 3 should be a must for dp for certain power goal? how many do you guys have?
also do i need a bung on manifold if i planning on getting an EGT?
I am still learning/reaseaching but this(bung/dp) I dont quite get it by going thru ppl's setup.
Thanks in advance.

Re: questions on downpipe and bungs
you've pretty much answered the question yourself.
Depending if your wanting to run your own wideband and how your EMS is setup you may just need a wideband. Most tuners tune in closed loop so you wouldn't need a stock o2 sensor. At the most you would "need" is 2.
The EGT sensor on the manifold comes in handy when you want to know your exhaust gas temps; hence egt. Depending on if you want to read that sensor you can install it but it's not a necessity

Re: questions on downpipe and bungs
it can depend on your tuning program as well for example s300 doesnt require a wideband because its built into the program but if you get tuned on chrome its a good idea to use two one for the wideband and one for your stock ecu uses

Re: questions on downpipe and bungs
i'll be running s300 with boost. as for gauges boost, press, aem wideband, and maybe egt.
so u guys think 2 bung is enough for the dp?
I see these bungs as somehow relate to gauges; egt and such. like each bung goes/connects to gauges.
so if i add water temp gauges, I dont need an extra bung or anything right? go easy guys lol
where do these gauges connects to in order to read temp, boost, press and etc.

Re: questions on downpipe and bungs
no need for wide bnd with s300 just sayin lol ive never seen more than three. each bung is for 02 sensor so its just what gauges you are running that need an 02 sensor
