Default Question regarding BOV's

Hey guys, i've been reading around this section of the HT forum, but like 99% of the HT community recommends a BOV.. So i guess it'll be the right thing to do

But like I live in holland, in a very crowded city.. wouldnt my car easily be target of a theft when people know im running turbo etc due to BOV

Well my question is, which BOV is recommended for the least amount of noise/sound? It'll be a daily driver

thanks in advance

you can use a recirculating BOV that routes the air back into the intake..

turbosmart makes a good one.

Since you are in Holland, Honda turbo'd cars are easy to spot regardless. If you're worried about theft like that, and have no place to park, don't do this at all.

But to answer your question in advance, anything that recirculates back into the intake filter towards the turbocharger will be quiter, this goes from GReddy RS with the stak removed, or even a TiAL QR which allows for recirculation.

*EDIT* As well as Turbosmart, yes..

the best part of having a turbo besides the massive increase in power is hearing the bov lol. id rather sleep in my car with a loaded shotgun than swith to a recirculator lol.

i've been trying to find this out, but couldnt find any good information about it, but how are you able to recirculate your bov, and is it possible with the tial 50mm bov? I got this one with a kit but before the purchase I thought it woulda been able to recirculate but now I am not quite so sure after inspecting it lol

No..not a recirc type..it has multiple vents which make the sweet Tial signature. Prolly no shotguns allowed...but who steals your car there?
Bastards.

The Tial Q has a recirc option. If quiet is what you want, I'd suggest it (along with a recirculated dumptube)

http://www.tialsport.com/prod_bv_qr.htm

You can swap bottoms with a "Q" and "QR" to get the style you want...
