Default Question regarding 4032 pistons...

Lets say your machine shop bores the block to .0035 PTW clearance. Your engine is pretty noisy, doesn't sound like its going to explode or anything, but its noisey. Drives you nuts... 10k miles later you can't take it anymore. Is 4032 harder then the cast iron stock sleeves? Should one expect to remove the pistons after 10k and not find many issues with them or excessive skirt wear? I was thinking about taking another block, boring to the CORRECT spec of .0023 and assembling using current components..
