Theoretical Build LS-Vtec
I would just like some opinions on a "theoretical" build I may look into, in the future.
LS-Vtec stock at first (if it passed leak down and compression test)
shooting for 300whp to 320whp, can this be done on stock motor?
I would run the "stock" motor for a few seasons, 3 at most...
I would want very quick turbo response/spool..I would like to be at full boost around 3500 to 4000 rpm...
Which turbo would suit this 'requirement' the best? I was initially looking at the GT2860RS.
Are there any journal bearing turbos that would yield the quick response of the GT2860RS but still net me 300to 320whp and still allow "room to grow" from there?
Will the GT2860RS be able to produce much more than 350whp with 3" full exhaust.
When I do decide to "build" the motor after the 3 years of stock motor, what compression ratio would be ideal?
