Default question for the hks ssq bov

wher do you run the hose from the back of the bov to? if you have pics it would help. the motor is a b16a in a crx.

on the intake manifold back hear the firewall their will be a small hose coming off it, also know as a vacuum hose. splice into that and run a hose to the BOV. if you have a BOV follow it's hose back to it's source and it should be the same line you hook the BOV up to.

why don't you want to vent it? Does it cause you to idle poorly?

as far as I could tell the limited time I didn't have it hooked up the BOV didn't seem to function properly. besides you always want to hook things up the way their supposed to be and hks wants it hooked to a vaccum source so thats where you should put it.

ok since you have a b16 it should be in the same place as on mine. you know where the intake manifold is? good now standing front center of the car reach your right arm out towards it on place your palm on the right side of the manifold. now as your fingers wrap round it you should feel the hose right their on the back side of it.

Yes put a vaccum Tee on the FPR hose and connect it to your BOV.
