how can you "tune" a fmu?
I wouldn't run more than 7psi with the fmu just to be safe.

Re: Question on FMU's (Muckman)
FMUs with adjustable rise rates, such as ones made by Car Tech, paired with a fuel controller like an Apexi AFC, can actually make for a decent setup for low boost. But it needs to be carefully set up with a wideband, like Muck said.

Re: Question on FMU's (lalspeed)
FMUs are fine, for basic setups running mild boosts I don't see why a FMU won't work. People ran them for years before Hondata or UD was even available and they worked great. Its obvious they aren't the best way to add fuel for boost, but you can't say they don't work.

agreed, I'm running UD myself... but UD is not for EVERYONE, you really have to understand what your are doing to actually use UD. A FMU is pretty much bolt on.

fmu is safe up to 10psi with no problems, you have to try it for yourself. They make my car so rich in boost i love it.

Re: Question on FMU's (jdmhonda)
except you are losing so much power, it is doing nothing for your timing which could be dangerous, and your fuel rail pressure is outrageous
